10 Ideas to Keep You Moving During the Holiday Season

Take some time to focus on your mobility during your work breaks.

Keeping active during the holiday season can be harder than doing a burpee. Here are 10 quick ideas to be active during the busiest time of year.

  1. Park far away. It’s tempting to grab that first spot but park as from the store as possible and add a lap around for each gift you purchase, while you’re shopping.
  2. Sneak in movement. Set alarms in your phone to do small but meaningful moves that work: 5 pushups, 10 jumping jacks, 10 tricep dips, 10 squats. These can be done anywhere, the mall, the airport, even the kitchen!
  3. Dance. Make a point of dancing at the holiday party, get the heart rate up and exercise while having fun!
  4. Play. Playing with the kids gives you a break, keeps you moving and makes them happy!
